Board of Supervisors Meeting
On Monday, June 8, 2015, at the regular Board of Supervisors meeting, Gibraltar Rock, Inc. will present their request to the Board for preliminary and final approval of their quarry plan, according to quarry attorney Steve Harris’ statement to the Pottstown Mercury this past week.
As far as we know, the current details of any revisions has not been viewed by our Planning Commission. It is being slipped through the back-door for a vote by the Board of Supervisors without having a chance for public input. How did the township engineers get the revised plan without a planning meeting? Who decided that the public should not hear the engineers’ and planner’s comments? What has been happening behind closed doors?

If you like to see “sparks fly” and “excuses offered”, we hope you will attend this meeting. It will begin at 6:30 pm, June 8, at Boyertown Jr. High East. If you will be late, that’s fine, it’s likely the township will take care of usual business first.
