Aiko von der Kleinen Wiese is a 5-year-old male German Shepherd. He was born on Little Meadow Sheep Farm in New Hanover Township where he herds sheep in addition to being a family pet. Aiko comes from old German herding lines and poses the intelligence, loyalty, versatility and work ethic that made the breed famous. He is equally happy working the sheep or playing ball with the children. Puppy Love is a 3-year-old female Pekingese who lives on Reifsnyder Road in New Hanover Township. Her Birthday is on July 4th . . . the birthday of our nation . . . and Puppy Love is also independent. Cyrus the Great . . . He was found as a stray with a bad case of mange by the SPCA. Guesstimated as no older than 2. He lives on Colflesh Road in New Hanover Township and his family has had him since April. He is the typical Boxer, very playful and bouncy. His job is to chase the chickens out of the yard and of course to "Watch em". WATCHDOGS LOGO ARTIST Jaime Meyers, a former resident of Little Road in Perkiomenville, designed our new Watchdogs logo. Jaime now lives in Holland and is self-employed as a photographer and graphics artist. She is author of a photo book on Bernese Mountain Dogs and devotes time to the rescue of this breed.
