Home   New Hanover Zoning Hearing Board
 
  The board is comprised of five residents, appointed by the Board of Supervisors.  The primary purpose of the Board is to assure the fair and equitable application and administration of the Zoning Ordinance by hearing appeals on the Zoning Officer's decisions and by granting relief from the literal interpretation (variance) in certain hardship situations.

Current board members include:
